PC3 - Both hands finger mobility
PC3 - Both hands finger mobility
Lesson Objective To develop left - right hand synchronization.
Step 1 Now bring both hands together, you'll only play up to the fifth interval then come back down again. Play the right hand an octave lower.
Step 2 The Finger Placement Exercise will start on LP1 and RT1, the note C in both cases. The symbol >< means you play one note at a time rising up and then coming down, you play the fifth interval only once. The symbol || mean you play the current line and the next line together, right and lefts hands together.
Exercise 1: Place each finger on each note as shown, play the pattern slowly and evenly. At the same time, have your child say the interval numbers out loud.
C >< || RT1 I2 M3 R4 P5
C >< LP1 R2 M3 I4 T5
Exercise 2: Observe the symbol <> this means instead of rising and then falling, you're falling then rising. On the left hand you start with the thumb on the fifth interval, T5 and end with your pinky on 1 P1, falling first then rising again, don't play P1 twice. Both hands are playing a mirror image.
Play the right hand first, then the left hand before you bring them both together.

C <> LT5 I4 M3 R2 P1
