Scales - Lesson 7 -Learn to play the A major scale.
The Akousunesis Method does not use finger number. Fingers are identified as T I M R P
The A major scale uses three black notes, two from the previous key D. The black notes are on the left side of each group, don’t play the right most black note of each group. Don’t play any white notes on the left of the black notes. The newly added black note in group two is the major seventh, a semi-tone down from the root, a G# in this case. The scale uses the two right-most white notes of groups one and two.
